Since 1989, the Carpinteria Community Pool has served generations of Carpinteria families, swimmers, athletes, and neighbors.

The pool has been a beloved treasure for over 30 years, and now it needs important upgrades to ensure it continues to be a safe, inclusive, and vibrant place for years to come.

Since the time that it has opened, the facility has not undergone significant infrastructure renovations and upgrades. State funding has been awarded to cover $3.3 million of essential safety and operational repairs  at the pool. We are grateful to State Senator Monique Limón for championing this critical funding.

Now we are raising $1M for enhancements that protect the new infrastructure, lower operating costs and extend the facility's useful life. These upgrades will transform an aging facility into a resource that proudly serves the community for decades to come.

Why Fund Carpinteria Community Pool?

For over 30 years, neighbors of all ages have come together at Carpinteria Community Pool to learn, grow, exercise and find their place at an incredible facility that serves everyone at any age.

Donations are facilitated through the Santa Barbara Foundation fiscal sponsorship fund, “CARP Fund,” which offers various methods of donations, including credit card, check, wires, stock, or other assets, as well as donor advised fund contributions.

To make a tax-deductible contribution:

The Santa Barbara Foundation is the 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor of the "Carpinteria Community Project" capital campaign.  As such, Santa Barbara Foundation receives all donations to the program and oversees funds are distributed in the manner intended by the committee. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
